Week 2-Prototype

The rough prototype was made so that the player would have to encounter different puzzle elements in different stages of the level. The player will start inside a pod like prison (yellow on the map) and they must find a switch to free them from the pod.

When they escape they enter a much larger area where cargo crates are piled up. The crates will be movable in the level and the player must use the crates to reach a switch on top of a higher platform in the center of the room. When that switch is activated it will open a purple door revealing a generator room with rotating platforms. The rotating platforms will lead the player into smaller chambers that house two more switches. One switch will open the red door to reveal another room.

The other switch will open a second Pod prison with a blue switch on the inside. In order to open the door to the room with the escape pod inside, the player must activate the switch nested inside of the second pod prison. Only then will the player reach the goal which is the escape pod.
